This Acceptable Use Policy governs how you may use Jalalle. It applies to everyone who uses the app or this website. Breaking these rules can result in immediate removal of content, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, and where appropriate we will report the matter to law enforcement.
The following are prohibited without exception. We report these to the relevant authorities and permanently ban the accounts involved.
You can report from inside the app: any member's profile, any conversation, and any community post or comment. Choose a reason, add anything you want us to know, and the report goes to a moderation queue reviewed by our team. You can also block any member instantly, which prevents all further contact and takes effect straight away, whether or not you report them.
You do not need a Jalalle account to report something to us. Email support@jalalle.com if you cannot access the app, if a report is urgent, or if your photographs or identity have been used on Jalalle without your consent. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
We review reported content and accounts. Depending on severity we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend an account, or permanently ban a member and block them from re-registering. For the conduct listed in section 1 we ban immediately and preserve records for law enforcement.
We aim to review reports involving child safety, trafficking, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or credible threats of violence within 24 hours, and all other reports within 72 hours. Where a report alleges an immediate risk to someone's safety we restrict the account while we look into it, rather than afterwards.
Apparent child sexual abuse material is removed, the account is permanently banned, and we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, as well as cooperating with law enforcement.
We do not read private messages routinely. Message content is reviewed only when it is reported to us or when we are legally required to do so.
You can appeal any removal, restriction, suspension or ban. Email support@jalalle.com from the address on your account and tell us why you think the decision was wrong. This works even if you cannot sign in, which is the point — a suspended account cannot reach an in-app form.
Appeals are reviewed by a senior member of our team who, wherever staffing allows, is not the person who made the original decision. They see the full record: what was reported, by how many people, what action was taken and the reason recorded at the time.
We aim to acknowledge your appeal within 5 business days and decide it within 14 days. Appeals against a suspension are handled ahead of appeals against content removal, because a suspension keeps you out of Jalalle while you wait.
If we agree with you, we reverse the decision: a suspended account is restored, a removed verification badge is reinstated, and the reports behind it are reopened and decided again. If we do not, we tell you the decision and the reason for it, in terms that do not identify whoever reported you. You may come back to us once more if you have genuinely new information; otherwise the decision is final.
Two things are not open to appeal. Bans for the conduct listed in section 1 — child sexual abuse material, trafficking, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, facilitating abuse, and threats of violence — are permanent, and the records are preserved for law enforcement. Separately, whatever the outcome of an appeal, your rights over your own personal data are unaffected and are handled through our Privacy Policy.
